Expedia Hires McKinsey Engagement Manager as Director of Global Operations Strategy
Expedia has hired a Director of Strategy reporting to the head of its Global Customer Operations Group.
The successful candidate is a Wharton MBA and McKinsey Engagement Manager with prior stints in marketing at strategy at HP and Carlson Marketing Group.
Other candidates considered included:
- A McKinsey Senior Associate, MIT MBA, with robust experience in the logistics industry as an undergraduate
- A BCG Associate Consultant, who returned to the firm for 3 years following his MBA at Wharton, and is currently a Project Leader
